Pastor Larry and Mrs. Janet from their days at George Peabody College for Teachers have had a passion to help, instruct and increase those around them. This was never more real to them as they home educated their first congregation; Laura (Love), Adam, and Sarah (Peters). All three are now successful in their own right, married and helping their mom and dad in the ministry.
Pastor Larry served as an accountant and controller, and business owner until 1988 when he and his family moved to Broken Arrow, OK to attend RHEMA Bible Training Center. Upon graduation, he again served in the business sector until he and Mrs. Janet pioneered Faith Covenant Church in 1995 in Greenbrier, TN. Their desire to teach, instruct, increase and train the family has not diminished.
